Alpendorf is located in Salzburgerland and is part of the skiing area Snow Space Salzburg, which Wagrain and Flachau is a part of as well. Alpendorf is a very family and child-friendly area, which is an ideal place to teach the little ones to ski, but there is also many opportunities to challenge the more experienced skiers and plenty of piste kilometers to venture out. In the summer you got plenty of fantastic hiking opportunities or you can experience „ Geisterberg“– a leisure and adventure park with lots of good activities for all ages. Alpendorf itself is not the world's largest city, but you can find the most basic things, such as bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. If you need bigger and other shopping options, you can hop on the ski bus to St. Johann im Pongau, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes.
